CIMR are delighted that Prof David Rubinsztein has been awarded the 2024 Movement Disorders Research Award by the American Academy of Neurology. This award recognizes an individual for outstanding work in the field of Parkinson's disease or other movement disorders. Prof Rubinsztein was announced as this year’s recipient at the Academy’s annual meeting in Colorado earlier this month and was keen to acknowledge the collaborative efforts required to make scientific advances. He says: “This is recognition for the excellent scientists I have had in my lab over the years. I feel very fortunate to have worked with such talented colleagues."
