Dr Janet Deane and Professor Stephen Graham travelled to Brazil in March to teach a theoretical and practical course in Protein Biochemistry, Biophysics and Structural Biology. The course was held at the University of Sao Paulo at the Ribeirão Preto campus in the lab of Professor Luis da Silva. The course was a huge hit with students and teachers alike, purifying fluorescent proteins and characterising their binding to nanobodies. The course material is all available online, including useful protocols and computer lab manuals.
