Biography

Dr Reiner Schulte is a biochemist and graduated from the University of Jena, Germany. In 2007, he obtained a PhD (immunology) from the University of Goettingen, Germany, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the German Primate Centre, Goettingen, Germany, in the Unit of Infection Models where his research focussed on vaccine development and polychromatic flow cytometry.

As flow cytometry has been the major technology in his research, in 2009 he moved on to work as a Senior Scientific Officer in the flow cytometry core facility at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute before taking on his role at CIMR in 2012.
